Fun game but....Traps Traps and Crashes
This game relies heavily on the excessive amount of traps issued to all players. Its not necessary to use much skill in putting together a well designed base because there are so many traps that even a complete noob is bound to put some in a good spot.
The iOS app does crash a lot, often during battle. I never ever play a compass though this app, just in case, only using the pc. (Compass are earned through winning normal pvp attacks, which are then redeemed for a direct attack on the opposing guild member of your choice you are at war with.)
This game is not for someone who wants to play once in a while. War never stops, and unlike clash of clans where you fight 2x and your part is over, here it works by total points so its continuous. I feel its the downfall of the game and causes many to burn out and stop playing.
There are quests and challenges, along with 2x loot events regularly, though the same ones repeat over and over so something new is needed.
The game favors the use of flying troops at the moment, as the defense and traps against them is not up to par, along with a flying hero who is way overpowered even in his default attack. (There are about 8 heroes one can own. Some bought with gems. Some unlocked through quest. Others using game resources).
Theres also the impending termination of Unity Player support by Firefox in 2016 that could be detrimental to the future of this game beyond the next few months unless they can successfully rewrite it in WebGL, as they have written their new game Paragon of Heroes.
